grey sky

The sky is painted in dreary hues of grey today.
Even the Sun seems to have soaked up the gloom
-the rays are lacking brilliance, like an unhappy smile.
I keep looking, as the grey tufts drifted silently
against the faint rumbles of thunder,
ready to cry, any moment.
