in a dream

The turquoise waves curled up lazily,
and transformed into liquid silver;
scattering softly,
soaking up the white shores,
and ran to me
bubbling in happiness,
to chase the sand
beneath my bare feet
and play a game of hide and seek.
The sky shimmered,
like sheer blue lace
spread out, endlessly,
softly lit by the Sun.
i smiled,
taking in the salty freshness,
the breeze flirting
with my hair strands
and happiness taking over me.

Last night, I escaped into a dream.

enchanting tunes

I sit,
as my mind wanders,
aimlessly,
my favourite tunes
playing me comfort-
in every note-
magical,
like the first drops of rain,
enticing,
like the scent of wet earth.

zephyr

a zephyr
blew.
a sweet whisper from heaven-
i stood, spellbound,
in the calming embrace,
sorrounding me, like a warm aura.
And I closed my eyes,
immersing,
drowning,
in the bliss of that moment;
so intoxicating,
so pure,
so beautiful.

the unsaid

when words drown,
silence speaks.
maybe
like how
the wind would
whisper to the sea...
"can you be without me?"

empty emotions

To miss someone
is like hearing the sea,
from a vacuous shell.
Seeking the infinte,
in emptiness.

bubbles

Breath,
in transparent spheres,
capturing tiny drops of light from the Sun,
ethereal,
and resplendent in rainbow hues;
floating delicately,
like life in a dream,
blissfully, yet aimlessly
with the wind
oblivious,
of destination or time.

music of the heart

Solitude, I love.
That's when I hear-
strumming the strings of my heart,
every memory resonating
into music notes -
at times like a brilliantly composed song,
sparkling with happiness;
at times intense and soulful
that streams down as a drop of tear,
and clings on to my chin,
refusing to let go;
at times disastrously distorted-
furious, chaotic, deafening
and may be, unforgiving.
